Netflix is making a bold play for tennis fans in 2026. The streamer has announced a sweeping new sports lineup under the banner "Game, Set, Stream," headlined by a four-part documentary series on Rafael Nadal — one of the most decorated athletes in tennis history.
The announcement underscores Netflix's ongoing commitment to premium sports storytelling and live events. One notable absence, however: fans hoping for more of Break Point will be disappointed. The series was canceled after its second season and will not be part of this new slate.
Here's a full breakdown of the tennis titles coming to Netflix in the months ahead, starting with the centerpiece of the lineup.
RAFA (4-Part Docuseries)
Coming to Netflix: May 29th, 2026
The standout title in Netflix's 2026 tennis slate is RAFA, an intimate four-part documentary series tracing the final chapter of Rafael Nadal's extraordinary career. The central conflict isn't a rival across the net — it's Nadal's own body, which had long threatened to cut short his run at the sport's highest level.
Filmed during his grueling final year on the ATP Tour in 2024, the series follows Nadal as he pursues one last goal: ending on his own terms. For the first and only time, Nadal opens up about the private highs and lows of his long farewell, granting the production crew exclusive access to himself, his family, and his inner circle.
The series also draws on a rich archive of never-before-seen footage spanning from Nadal's childhood — beginning at just three years old — through his emotional return to competition in 2024. Rounding out the portrait are sit-down interviews with his greatest rivals: Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and John McEnroe, each offering their perspective on what Nadal meant to the sport.
Behind the camera is Oscar-nominated, Emmy-winning director Zach Heinzerling, known for Stolen Youth and McCartney 3,2,1. The series is produced by Skydance Sports — the company behind Amazon's Air and Netflix's America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys — with David Ellison, Jesse Sisgold, Jason Reed, and Jon Weinbach serving as producers.
Chris & Martina: The Final Set (Documentary Film)
Coming to Netflix: June 29th, 2026
Arriving just a month after RAFA, this documentary tackles what many consider the defining rivalry in women's sports history — and what happened when both women faced a challenge no competitive instinct could overcome.
For nearly two decades, Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert shaped the identity of professional tennis. Their contrasting styles, personalities, and philosophies made them foils as much as competitors, driving each other to historic achievements while captivating audiences worldwide.
The Final Set picks up long after their final match, centering on a devastating parallel: both women received cancer diagnoses at virtually the same time. Directed by Rebecca Gitlitz, the film weaves together archival footage, candid interviews, and behind-the-scenes access during their respective treatments and recoveries. The result is a meditation on mortality, identity, and resilience — and an intimate portrait of how a decades-long rivalry quietly transformed into an unbreakable friendship.

Six Kings Slam (Netflix Live Event)
Coming to Netflix: October 2026
Netflix closes out its 2026 sports calendar by returning to one of its most high-profile live broadcasting commitments: tennis.
Building on Jannik Sinner's triumph at the 2025 edition, Netflix will once again stream the Six Kings Slam live from the ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The prestigious exhibition tournament gathers six of the top ATP champions for a marquee showdown, cementing Netflix's growing reputation as a destination for must-watch live sport on a global scale.
