Every Netflix Show and Movie That Got Its Own Custom TUDUM Intro
A select few Netflix titles have earned personalized variations of the platform's iconic intro.

TUDUM. That two-syllable sonic signature has become synonymous with Netflix's catalog of thousands of titles. But the intro has undergone significant evolution since the streaming service launched original content, and a handful of productions have received custom treatments.
Netflix's earliest original, Lilyhammer, featured the company's DVD-era logo. House of Cards season one used a simple wipe transition with "A Netflix Original Series" text. By mid-to-late 2018, the platform introduced a white background with its updated logo, eventually transitioning to the now-familiar slow reveal of the red "N" against black.

Theatrical Netflix TUDUM
Netflix debuted an extended TUDUM at the 2018 Venice Film Festival for Roma. This theatrical version features a musical composition by Hans Zimmer accompanying the logo animation. It's now standard for festival premieres and limited theatrical runs, though films typically revert to the standard intro once they hit the streaming platform.
In late 2023, Netflix began using the extended intro on streaming for select titles. Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire and Maestro both feature the longer animation, though with music from their respective composers rather than Zimmer's score. Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery also uses this format with custom audio.
Bright
The 2017 fantasy action film was an early example of audio customization. As the standard logo forms, crackling magic and electrical sounds play beneath the visual before transitioning into the traditional TUDUM. The effect mirrors the film's gritty, magic-infused urban setting.
Stranger Things
Netflix first introduced custom logo stings with Stranger Things, creating an intro that appears across all seasons of the sci-fi hit. The sting features classic red lightning from the Upside Down crackling as the Netflix logo materializes, accompanied by the unmistakable scream of a Demogorgon. These elements immediately establish the show's atmosphere, evoking both the alternate dimension threatening Hawkins and the monstrous creature that terrorized the first season.
For season 5's arrival, Netflix updated the intro across all seasons. The new version begins in Hawkins, showing two children's bikes abandoned outside Hawkins Lab before the camera plunges into the Upside Down.
The Witcher

The Witcher received its own custom intro featuring a bleak, blue-tinted forest of dead trees. A Kikimora—the insectoid monster Geralt battled in season 1—shrieks and rears up on its hind legs. The intro captures the dark fantasy world of the Continent and the deadly nature of Geralt's work as a monster hunter.
3 Body Problem
3 Body Problem launched with a custom sting from day one, featuring a static-filled TUDUM effect and three luminous orbs orbiting the Netflix logo. The orbs represent the series' central sci-fi concept—the chaotic three-body orbital mechanics problem—and the three unpredictable suns that devastate the alien San-Ti homeworld.
Bridgerton (Season 3)

Bridgerton season 3 got an elegant makeover with a turquoise-patterned backdrop and a floral Netflix logo. A bumblebee flies toward the camera before the logo zooms forward. The bee holds deep significance for fans—it's a recurring symbol honoring the late Lord Edmund Bridgerton, representing the family's shared history, grief, and lasting bond.
Senna
Netflix's Brazilian series Senna chronicles the life of Formula 1 legend Ayrton Senna. Its custom intro zooms in on a vintage Formula 1 car, with the Netflix logo emerging from the glowing red rain light at the vehicle's rear. It's a high-speed tribute that places viewers directly on the track, matching the adrenaline and intensity of the legendary driver's career.
Squid Game
The global sensation Squid Game received an elaborate custom intro for its later seasons. The sting showcases the show's iconic maze-like staircases in teal and pink, with masked guards marching menacingly. As the "N" logo forms and zooms forward, its lines glow in the series' signature pink, yellow, and teal. The intro opens with "Pink Soldiers" from the soundtrack before transitioning into a darker, more ominous version of the classic TUDUM sound.
Wednesday (Season 2)

Wednesday season 2 features a fittingly macabre intro starring Thing, everyone's favorite disembodied hand. The sequence shows Thing walking through a moonlit cemetery, stopping beside three gravestones arranged to form the letter "N." In a clever homage to the classic Addams Family theme, Thing snaps twice—the first snap illuminates the "N" in purple, while the second shifts it to the standard red and black before the episode starts.
Frankenstein
Among 2025's major film releases, Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein received the custom intro treatment. The Netflix logo emerges from two electrical barrels, a fitting nod to the story's reanimation themes.
